  1. Collection and use of your data on our website

When you visit our website, data is automatically collected by our IT systems. This is mainly technical data, such as Internet browser, operating system or time of the page call and the pages called up. This data is collected automatically and anonymously as soon as you enter our website and is used exclusively for statistical purposes.

Part of the data is collected in order to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data is used to analyse user behaviour.

Personal data such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or other identifying information is not collected. We will only collect this data if you provide us with this information voluntarily, for example by using the contact form in an e-mail, or if required by relevant legislation.

You can therefore visit our website without providing any personal data. We reserve the right to make the data provided by you anonymous, to store it in aggregated form and, if necessary, to combine it with other data in order to compile anonymous statistics (e.g. on the number of visitors).

  1. Storage, use and processing of your data

We use and process your personal data primarily for the purpose of fulfilling your requests, such as answering your inquiries, processing your orders as well as preparing, negotiating, handling and fulfilling contracts and providing you with specific information.

Furthermore, it may be necessary to store and process your personal data in order to maintain customer relations, for example, to better respond to your wishes and requirements and to improve our products and services.

  1. Passing on of your data

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes. However, we would like to point out that we may be obliged to pass on your data to third parties due to contractual or legal requirements.

Your personal data will only be forwarded by us to affiliated companies or commissioned third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract. This takes place within the framework of order processing, which complies with Article 28 of the Basic Data Protection Regulation. In this case we remain responsible for the protection of your data. The service providers work exclusively according to our instructions. This is ensured by contractual regulations, technical and organisational measures and regular checks. Furthermore, these companies are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the data transmitted to you.

Due to a legal obligation, official or court orders, we are obliged to pass on your personal data. This may be necessary, for example, to substantiate or protect legal claims, to defend against lawsuits, as a result of a company audit or review, in connection with the sale, assignment, other transfer of the business or to prevent abuse and other illegal activities.

  1. Rights in the processing of your personal data

To exercise your rights, please contact the responsible department at Storms Kommunikations Entwicklung. (info@storms-kommunikation.ch)

The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected.

(a) Right of access

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. In this respect, you may, for example, request information on the purposes of the processing; categories of personal data; categories of recipients to whom your personal data has been or will be disclosed; the duration of storage; the origin of your data, if it has not been collected by us.

b) Right of rectification

You have the right to correct incorrect or complete, incomplete personal data without delay.

c) Right of deletion (“right to be forgotten”)

You have the right to obtain the immediate deletion (“right to be forgotten”) of your personal data if, for example, the purpose of the processing is no longer necessary, in the event of a withdrawal of consent or in the absence of a legal basis for processing your personal data.

d) Right to limit processing

You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data, for example if the accuracy of the data is disputed, if the processing is unlawful or if you refuse to delete the data and instead request the restriction of use, provided that we no longer need the data for the purposes of the processing but need them to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or if an objection to the processing has been lodged.

e) Right to data transferability

You have the right to receive personal data that you have provided us with in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to have it transferred to another person responsible, provided that the processing is automated.

A direct transfer of your personal data to another responsible person will only take place to the extent that this is technically feasible.

f) Right of objection

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will not process your personal data after a revocation, unless we can prove compelling reasons for processing worthy of protection that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Furthermore, you may at any time object to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing.

g) Right to automated decisions including profiling

They shall have the right to be determined on a non-exclusive basis on an automated decision, including profiling. This means that you have the right to challenge that decision and, if necessary, to have it rectified.

(h) Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of data protection law or if you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful, you have a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority.

In this regard, you can contact the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Baden-Württemberg for questions relating to data protection law.

6. Protection of your data

In order to protect your stored personal data, we have taken extensive technical, administrative and organisational security measures to protect it from unauthorised access and misuse.

To ensure the confidentiality of this data, we use state-of-the-art IT security systems.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet, for example when communicating by e-mail, can have security gaps and is not fully protected against access by third parties.

It is your own responsibility to ensure that the computer used by you is adequately secured and protected against malware. Therefore, we cannot take responsibility for the security of your data during transmission and disclaim any liability.

SSL or TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send us via the contact form cannot be read by third parties.

  1. Data collection on our website

a) Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Visited pages (subpages of this website)
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which permits the processing of data in our legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of our website.

For this purpose the server log files must be recorded. The provider of our website hosts this site in Germany. The server log data are automatically deleted in a 4-week cycle.

  1. Contact form

If you send us enquiries via our contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent or a possible contract initiation. You can revoke this consent at any time. In this regard, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing procedures carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies. Legal regulations, such as storage periods, remain unaffected by this.

  1. Analysis tools and tools from third parties

We do not use tracker and analysis tools.
